MIM -MUSIC IN THE MORNING!

Proudly sponsored by Sask Lotteries and the City of Regina, this is an amazing music & wellness program geared for seniors in Regina, created by Hummingbird Crossing's Tim Mrazek & Helen Chang!

 

Music in the Morning combines easy breathing, gentle Tai Chi and wellness exercises that are great for improving your energy and building your health!

 

We'll also work our lungs and voices by singing well-loved songs from childhood! (We might also throw in a few classic oldies too!). Our student library and lounge is perfect for this portion of the program. If we only had a campfire!​

Covid19: free weekly Zoom sessions are currently held.

There is also a Music in the Morning Wellness Program YouTube channel you can enjoy anytime!

Instructors: We have a pair of expert instructor for this exciting holistic wellness program who strives to create a relaxed and comfortable learning vibe.

​

Tim Mrazek is a Naturopathic Doctor and master level instructor in traditional Chinese martial arts, tai chi & chi kung. Helen Chang, MD, CCFP, FCFP is one of the best teachers you'll find. She's also a senior level Kung Fu instructor, so don't let her quiet exterior fool you! ;) Both Chang & Mrazek have music degrees, have feet in a variety of musical genres, and perform bluegrass, folk & roots music with Hummingbird Crossing and as a duo.
